Holistic Health & Wellness Clinic | A Healing Space Eugene

Architect: Richard Shugar AIA, LEED AP Project Manager: Dannon Canterbury Associate AIA, LEED AP General Contractor: James Cody Completed 2011 Eugene, Oregon 5,360 sf Commercial Remodel An industrial warehouse located in a transitional neighborhood was the site of this full-scale interior remodel. A local Chiropractor was expanding his business by adding other practitioners to his practice and needed supplementary space. When the warehouse became available, he saw the potential for a series of treatment rooms that could be assigned to the therapists. The space was designed to have characteristics and elements based on an abstracted concept of a Japanese village street. We did extensive research on Japanese building details to understand how to incorporate the essence of the details into the space. 1 of 5 next
